Rick and Morty Premiere in Space
In honor of HBO Max's "Global Rick and Morty Day," we gave fans a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Collaborating with a private company that sends payloads to outer space, we attached a weather balloon to a tricked-out replica of Rick’s ship and launched it 40,000 meters above the earth’s surface.
Fans, both IRL and virtually via the GoRickYourself app, climbed aboard to watch the season 5 premiere while orbiting the Earth.

The Lead-Up to Space
As a lead-up to the Premiere in Space, fans got to create the character mash-ups of their dreams on the brand’s first and only avatar builder, featuring over 30 character parts.
On the spaceship’s accent, fans watched as their avatars loaded into Rick’s dashboard screen.
When the ship hit peak altitude, that same screen hosted the global premiere of Season 5 of Cable’s #1 show. The episode played until the spaceship crashed back down to earth.
